The Cheapest Countries for Offshore Company Formation in 2026

Price remains one of the first questions every client asks, and rightly so. The good news is that formation in many jurisdictions is genuinely inexpensive — Seychelles and Dominica routinely come in under US$ 1,500 including government fees, with Belize and Panama just above.

But the true cost of an offshore company includes its annual maintenance. A cheap setup with expensive compliance, or a registry that banks and payment providers mistrust, is no bargain. We always present the all-in cost — formation plus the first year's government fees, registered agent and provision of our own services.

A second, more subtle cost is bankability. A Seychelles IBC is perfectly legitimate, yet some conservative banks treat certain registries more favourably than others. Where your banking relationships matter more than the absolute minimum fee, a slightly more expensive jurisdiction such as the BVI or Delaware often pays for itself in friction avoided.

Our advice is to start from your use case — trading, holding, fintech, asset protection — and then compare jurisdictions. If you write to us with your expected activities, we will send you a clear side-by-side budget before you spend anything.
